LA-born and NY-based artist Tyrrell Winston has enjoyed a fruitful partnership with Reebok over the past few seasons. Together the two have been able to tap into Winston's penchant for found objects and outsider art.
Having previously worked on the Club C, Tyrrell revisits the silhouette for a second time to refine his concept. One of the notable changes comes from the distressed midsole—sanded to remove most of the distinctive dimpled pattern which normally covers the Club C's midsole. The uppers are made with a pebbled leather which makes up for the smoothed-out sole. The signature 'NY' symbol which features in Winston's work gets used on the tongue, whilst removing branding from the quarter panel prevents attention straying from the shoe's design.
